Tell us a little about yourself: What field do you work in and how did you get there?
As entrepreneurs, we place a great emphasis on environmentally friendly operations. Five years ago, I switched my career path, but sustainability has still played an important role in my life. I work as an editor-reporter, and I am passionate about raising awareness of topics related to these areas. Since that time I has worked as an online media specialist, a digital reporter. I am very thankful to the Civic Society of Mert nőnek lenni jó. I wrote some articles and received feedback on how to make them more engaging for women. Krisztina Mészáros from MNLJ gave me a lot of power and inspiration. I wrote some short articles in Hungarian during my university years. I wrote about marriage, family and life that not everything is always rosy. I studied Hungarian and English, and my knowledge in both was sufficient for writing. My first work which was the application form to the radio was also published and released. And though thatI was offered a reporter position in regional media.
Why is the "green", i.e. ecologically sustainable dimension of business important to you and why do you think that other entrepreneurs should also deal with it?
My motivation is to help male and female entrepreneurs. Formerly, my motivation was to recover from a sickness called anorexia, and that journey led me to focus more on the green food business and after that I started working as the online media reporter focusing on green topics. I can say that I am a proud mother, happy entrepreneur and a promoter of a healthy lifestyle living with the motto: "Healthier life without limits." It was my first success, where I saw the grateful feedback of those whose lives have been changed with green products and interviews. If people get a better, valuable life, it inspires me every day. The process does not end with this, it's constant learning and improving, we always can and will be better. My motivation comes from my children; I want to leave them a world where they don’t have to suffer or fix the orbital mistakes of the previous generations. Today, everything is in place for environmentally friendly businesses in the market. Step by step, we can make not only our homes greener but also our businesses, and the greatest benefit of this is that we set an example for our environment.
What advantages does entrepreneurship bring to your life compared to a job?
The greatest advantage of my job is freedom. Freedom from time constraints and the freedom to choose my tools.
How do you promote your products? Is online marketing important to you and do you think it is important to people in business in general? (Are you involved in building your customer community in any way?)
Online marketing is today essential for businesses to stand out with their uniqueness in a flooded market. For my part, I also use it; I always highlight it when I interview someone whose insights and thinking I deeply agree with.
What advice would you give to ladies starting a business?
Be authentic. Don’t compromise. A woman who dares to start her own business is surely very determined and strong and dives into her independent venture after proper market research. Believe in yourself and don’t give up on your dreams. Offer a unique, unrepeatable product made with love. Such endeavors are destined for success. I would recommend to believe in yourself.
